Coal Mine Workers medical

All employee's and contractors that are working on a coal mine site in Queensland are required to undergo a Queensland Coal Mine Workers Medical Assessment. This assessment is conducted before employment and periodically during employment.

The medical assessment consists of four different sections and involves a review of medical history as well as a physical assessment. During the physical assessment, the following tests will be completed:

  • Height, weight, body mass index
  • Vision Tests

  • Cardiovascular examination
  • Urinalysis
